Unless you’ve been living in a cupboard for the last couple of months, you’ll probably have heard about the brand new festival taking place at Goodwood called VINTAGE.
This shiny new festival looks absolutely ER-MAZE-IN!! This wonderful new festival takes place over 3 day and is a celebration of 5 decades of everything cool about British culture, from the music to fashion, film to art, you name it they got it covered. And it will be taking place pretty much on our doorstep!
The whole festival looks absolutely incredible, just take a look at the amazing website they have set up when you have a few minutes to spare or when your bored at work, they really are pulling out ALL of the stops.
So many different stages and areas covering pretty much every genre from the last 50 years, but the two stages that are getting us all VERY excited here at COR Towers are the Roller Disco Arena and the Warehouse.
These two wonderful stages will be playing host to some of the most wonderful and influential disco and house DJ’s to have emerged from these fair shores. If you like COR, this will be right up your street, so much so that many of the legendary DJ’s we’ve had as guests at our little soirée by the sea will be putting in headline sets at Vintage!…
…In fact, Greg Wilson is the curator for the Roller Disco and Warehouse stages and he has hand picked the pioneers who have built the amazing disco and house scenes and who have promoted some of the most legendary parties ever to have been hosted. This really will be an amazing weekend, I’m so excited I think I may pop.
That’s right, COR are hitting the road!! All aboard!!
We’re hiring an old Route Master London bus to head to the Vintage Festival on Saturday 14th August and we would love you to join us!
We’ll spend the day at the Vintage Festival, taking in all the wonderful sights and sounds on offer (Really, check the videos on the Vintage Website to get an idea of what they plan to do with the site – looks just amazing!) – Then, as night falls, we’ll make our way to the Roller Disco and Warehouse were none other than the legendary LOWLIFE (Frank Broughton and friends of COR Bill Brewster and Michael Cook!) will be in charge of the party time!! What a day to go! It’s gonna be big!!
Oh, and if that weren’t enough for ya, rumor has it that a one of COR’s larger disco vets will be taking control of the ones and twos at some point in the day – Watch this space for details!
The night finishes at 2pm – We’ll make our way back to our beloved Southsea on the Route Master and hopefully find somewhere to have an afterparty!!
What a day it will be. Oh yes, it will be fun.
More detail to follow very soon and tickets will be available shortly from Uncle Tim at Head Hairdressing, 53 Albert Road, Southsea.
Keep you eye on COR for more info as it unfolds.
All at COR Towers are VERY excited about this one, hope you are too!
