House of the Rising Sun/ Music for Japan UK

Our own Steve Laming represented COR last weekend with his thunderous deep house set in Clapham at a huge Save the Children Japan Fundraiser. With a line up which saw Victor Simonelli fly in from New York and included Rocky, Terry Farley, Trevor Fung, Colin Dale, Lisa Loud, Nancy Noise, Brandon Block, Nicky Holloway and many others, this was one of a series of events to be staged throughout 2011 and more details will follow ahead of the next one.

We should also have really exciting news of the next COR party in our next message.

Now that may have all seemed like some fairly heavy hitting promotional news and that’s really not what we’re all about so here’s an insight into the sutff we check out on the net, for disco, house and re-edit news Resident Advisor is the nuts….

and for good soulful stuff we recommend a group called Pure Grooves run by a real soulhead James Murphy, the magazine is really good and recommend you sign up…

Ok that was a farily weighty pile of stuff and apologies if we’ve overloaded you but we do to communicate. Hope to see you at a party soon, wherever whenever…………

Well thanks for that Steve – I don’t know how you find the time!

Looks like some cracking stuff lined up, try and get down to watch these disco masters doing what they do best.
